If they are not showing the intent to deny letter, they may be want to prevent you from quitting the company and going elsewhere now that u have ur 3 yr H1B with you.....be mindful of that.

It is possible to transfer the H1 with validity to 30-Sep-2011 as long as the PERM is active. However, once approved, the PERM will "expire" if no I-140 is filed within 180 days, and eligibility for further one year extensions would end. Similarly, if the employer withdraws the PERM or if it is denied and no appeal is taken further extensions based on that PERM would not be granted.

I believe unless you filed I-485 under the revised fee structure last year, you need to pay for EAD and AP renewal every time you have to renew.

You should contact your lawyer & ask USCIS to amend your H1 for 3 years instead of 1 year. One time My H1B got approved but USCIS forgot to add up vacation time then My Lawyer contacted USCIS officer to amed that time. Later got new H1B approval with correct date.
I think that will give clear idea if USCIS not finding you I140?
My concern is during the H1 Extension process USCIS have touched all my files (485/EAD/AP) but not I-140.
I have put all my WAC/SRC numbers on USCIS website, I could see the LUD date changed against all files except for I-140. which apparently have a different A#.
I m worried, if USCIS would come up sometime in future n say they dont see my I-140 file.

I agree with PCS. We should keep this as a volunteer organisation and send email newsletter,word of the mouth etc, for fundraising. I am not sure if we should impose a membership fee as this is a volunteer org and also people who want to donate money would do it anyways. Just my thought:D

Funny, I was just in my local camera shop last weekend and brought up the idea of upgrading my D70 to the new D80. The guy in the shop said there really wouldn't be much in the way of noticeable differences in what I have now and mentioned the D200 would be the better way to go, the list of reasons right now escapes me but I thought I'd just pass that info on.
