What is your RD and ND ?
Dear All,
I just received a FP notice for my wife scheduled for Sep 19, 2007. I have not received mine yet (I am the primary applicant), I have a few questions regarding this. Please help me if you have any information.
1. Is it normal for the primary applicant to not receive FP notice at the same time as dependent?
2. Can my wife get it done without me getting an FP notice?
3. Can I get my FP done on the same day as my wife even though I did not receive my FP notice?
4. I have filed for I-485, EAD and AP, will we both receive an FP notice for all 3 applications or it is just one FP for all applications?
Please help us with your expertise. Thank you very much for all your time.

Please stop complaining, multiple posting of same greivance and try to do something constructive - I have been waiting for more than 5 years now too, and as frustrated as I am, I do not feel complaining will get me anywhere.
Folks, I agree that while complaining and venting are therapeutic, they are only good up to a certain point. Don't just vent on these forums. Vent, but also try and do something constructive - help recruit new members, help raise funds for UIV, talk to your bosses at work and friends who are US citizens, and make them aware of what LEGAL immigrants who are stuck in backlogs and limboland are going through. Have them write their congressmen and senators and tell them to do something about this situation.
Venting is a good first step, but we'll all need to be more constructive than this.

We are planning to go to India in the last week of September. My current AP expires by Oct 10. Hence applying for a new one. How long are AP approvals taking now a days at TSC.

I e-filed my AP renewal on May 25th, mailed the supporting docs the next day. TSC approved my AP on June 19th and I received the AP in mail on June 21st.

you will be able to see the last action on a case.
You can also create a portfolio, save all your pending receipts under a username.

Labor was filed in June 2006. The date on my degree certificate is later than that. The hope is that the person who reads the response to the RFE considers completion date instead of date of receiving the degree (official graduation date).

I'm EB3-ROW and at the last stage of I-485 processing. Just waiting for the bulletin to tell me I'm current. Two weeks ago, I found out my lawyer has been blacklisted. Just like Fragomen. Apparently my lawyer performed "too many miracles."
Now I wish to change lawyers to avoid risk of RFEs, denial, etc. Should I do it? What is involved in the switch of lawyers? Just a simple G28? Any risks involved?
Would appreciate any opinions on this matter. Thank you.

Scratch that last post. I found what I needed. I removed the line of code:

and replaced it with:

For every IV member that gets their GC, would it be too much to ask them to contribute say at least $100/- ? May be this can become a norm and the starting point for an "IV Alumni" :)
The folks who will be getting their GC's in the next 2 months can show the way - Along with posting the happy news that you got your GC and of course posting your RD and ND and PD and the fact whether you had AC21 or EAD or whatever :), will it be too much to give something back to the community that helped you all the way?
I think this would be a noble gesture in support of this organization that has supported the cause of lots and lots of employment based immigrants.

3. Drive cross country with family and have fun. Meet all my friends on the way.
4. Return the van in San Francisco, take one way ticket to India.
5. Start a fresh life in India, free of immigration woes.

Q : How is the apeal done considering I-485 is already filled.
My Attorney says better to file fresh EB2 with current company.

According to 8 C.F. R. 204.5(e), When a Beneficiary has multiple approved I-140 petitions,
he is entitled to the earliest priority date....

My I-140 and I-485 also has different A numbers. I had 2 more approved I-140s which has different A numbers as well. How and when will get consolidated to a single file?

My I140 is approved, 180 days complete and looking to change jobs in May/June.
I have another 2 months with the present client. I want to Use AC21 but not inform USCIS. Does filing G28 and changing lawyer trigger a notice to my present company lawyer?

If it had 485 filing provision in it it would been wonderful. Shall we start sending email or call to Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) ?? What is IV's take on this ?
